It was originally supposed to be a mermaid. Turned out to be mother nature or something.
Sorry for the obvious/harsh level and brightness/contrast tinkerings. my camera’s all like ‘your picture has lots of values but when you take a picture of it, it only has four herp’ and it makes me angry.
Just a doodle.

I’ve been so busy :/ . I finished a portrait, but forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it away. Oops. So I’ll be trying to that person to take a picture and send it to me.
I just came back from a camping trip, and in a few days I’ll be going to a barely populated town that speaks french to visit family- and I’m bring my art supplies. So hopefully something good comes out of that :D

So I’ve found this website that I really enjoy. It has 149, really cool sketchbook ideas. I’ve decided to make it a challenge for myself to complete every idea before 2012 because I have no life.
I will post other things, but this blog will most likely be spammed with sketches for the next couple of months. :3
